Bee Hollow Farm BEEKEEPING CLASSES AND EVENTS NEAR SCHODACK LANDING, NEW YORK.
Here at Bee Hollow Farm our farm is not open to the public, not because we don’t want you here, but more for the safety of yourself and our bees. However, we do have direct farm pickup available by appointment and you can find us at a number of beyond the farm events! Every year we personally run a class for aspiring beekeepers; the class does fill up quickly so be sure to check out our calendar for dates and signups! In addition to the class, you can find our farm and products at a number of event and farmers markets throughout the Capital District. We want to be as accommodating to you as possible, so If you’re looking to check out our bees we would love to bring the bees to you! Working Session #7 (at the farm with live bees) - Weekend day TBD based upon Spring’s arrival
This class is taught by Cornell Certified Master Beekeeper Paul himself, who successfully keeps hundreds of honeybee colonies throughout the Capital region and Hudson Valley and who, year after year, has managed to successfully over-winter his colonies and nucleus colonies.
Class breakdown: Six 2-hour classroom sessions and one 3-hour working session at the farm working with live bee colonies.
The classroom sessions will take place live through an online platform where you can enjoy them and learn from the comfort of your home. The first class will meet on February 20, 2025 at 7:00PM. You will receive an email prior to that date with log-in instructions.
All students will have access to a dropbox folder with downloadable files, presentations and pertinent information.
